Having tore a ligament in my knee 18 months ago trying to run 100 miles in one go to raise money for a walking aid for a very close family member who had a brain haemorrhage which affected her whole body, I have been left with no option to have ot operated on. I have been given the date of Monday April 20th for my operation.
Our Dirty Dozen assault course is on Saturday April 18th.
The April course, which starts week commencing March 30 will run for three weeks and 9 sessions only, there will then be a 2 week gap before the May course begins on the week commencing May 4th.
Because of the Obstacle race on Saturday 18th April, session 9 of the Hastings April course will be moved forwards to 8AM on the Saturday and will be held at Harrow Lane Playing fields – There will be a single 1 hour session for both the intense and the hour course attendees.
Bexhill’s session 9 will remain unaffected.
The prices are adjusted accordingly for the shorter course and are on the website.
There is also an EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT for May where there will be 15% off the normal price until April 6th midday, 10% off until April 13th Midday and 5% off until April 20th Midday.
For new members this is a great way to try Commando Fitness for less of a commitment.
For existing members, I know two weeks is a long time without Commando Fitness training and it is the last thing I want to do, for multiple reasons.
However, I have delayed this operation for as long as possible and offered this incremental early bird discount to encourage you to get booked up early for May and keep focused on getting back into working towards and beyond your goals.
Please remember also, that it is good for your body to have a break every now and again, and we would take a week off every few months anyway – so don't beat yourself up about it too much.
A couple of runs in the 2nd week off will keep you ticking over ready to return.
